American History Honors Quiz

The American History Honors Quiz is part of a series of history quizzes developed for students to recognize excellence in history. Each series consists of ten or more topics and twenty-five questions with multiple choice answers. However, to eliminate guessing with only four answers, answers may contain as many as ten possible choices.

The purpose is to encourage the learning of history and to recognize history proficiency and excellence. The questions format is designed not to be easy, but to test ability. Open book research is allowed. Quizzes may also be repeated. A completion grade is 23 correct answers out of 25 questions.

The passing of all topics earns the student a certificate for “Excellence in American History”. The certificate may also be reported on college admission applications. Click grey border below to see topics.
